Netscape Maddness

I need to test webpages to see if they will work in Netscape. ALL i did
was download netscape and install it. These crazy people have taken
over my computer and replaced IE with Netscape. Is there a way i can
change the default settings? maybe in the registry.

Crazy people? When installing Netscape, you were given
the option of making Netscape your Default Browser.
By saying Yes, you made it happen. To undo this, open
the Control Panel / Internet Options / place a tick mark
into the box "Internet Explorer should check...". Next time
you launch IE, you will be asked again which browser
should be your default browser.

I can't Launch IE as Netscape has replaced the desktop Icon. What is
the executable name and it's location. Start button +8Internet explorer
runs netscape as well.

It's not Netscape you should be testing it in - it's Firefox.

This is realy crazy. I go to start RUN and type iexplorer.exe Up come
netscape. Netscape appears to have overridden iexplorer.exe with it's
own. If I look at file types
to see the asociated application it confirms Internet explorer with
it's E icon.
I also am trying out firefox and opera. I have to see what bbrowsers
work. Not my decission.

Navigate here in Windows Explorer: C:\Program Files\Internet Explorer
and double-click iexplorer.exe and see what happens.

It wouldn't surprise me if Netscape opens, what with AOL now owning
Netscape and their history of controlling people's computers.
