Netscape Internet Service---PLEASE HELP!!!(not shouting)

I downloaded Netscape Internet Service to my computer and when I try to
connect to the internet, my computer shuts down. I know it's my computer
that's the problem and not netscape because the same thing happened when I
tried to get online with AOL. Please someone help because I need to get
online. (I'm using a public pc btw)

This may very well be the designed behavior for use of a public PC.
Probably, the owners of the computer you are using don't want you installing
an Internet service of any kind, so they shut the machine off when you try.

I'm sorry that's not what I meant. What I meant to say was I'm having a
problem on MY OWN pc and the reason why I was able to ask for help online was
because I was using a public pc. Can anyone help me please?
