netscape 7.1 and xp

just reformatted with xp pro.
am used to navigator 7.1 and like the format, but can't
seem to get it to load properly to xp. i go to open icon
and screen blacks out and comes back on. have re
downloaded various times and always complete supposedly.
ideas?

For best results, post in
sFWIW, NS 7.1 works fine in XP Pro SP1 for me.
