Netowrk Connection Problems

I run a small domain at my home for learning purposes. I
am running a Eval copy of Win 2k3 Server and XP client.
When my client has been sitting for a long period of time
like 4 to 6 hours I can no longer access my network
drives thatI have statically mapped without a reboot. I
have updated both machines with the critical updates.
Any suggestions ? I also have a second client meachine
doing the same thing.
