NetLogon service will not start

When I try to start the NetLogon service manually I get the following error.

Could not start the Net Logon service on Local Computer.
Error 10106: The requested service provider could not be loaded or
initialized.

The just started a yesterday and I can't seem to find any information out
about it. Any help is greatly appreciated.

Hi Robbie,

1. Try a System Restore rollback, and see if that helps.

2. Reset the Winsock stack, using this advice:

For XP SP2, NETSH command should help:
