Netlogon ID Error 3210

Hi everyone,

One of our Windows XP machine could not logon to Windows 2003 AD. The error
message in its system log is: Netlogon Error ID 3210: Failed to
authenticate with domain ontroller.

I found the following article: Q216393 - Resetting computer accounts in
Windows 2000 and Windows XP, which says "If, for some reason, the computer
account's password and the LSA secret are not synchronized, the Netlogon
service logs one or both of the following errors messages: ..."

Does anyone know what could be the reason which mentioned in this artical?
This is the second time that this machine has this issue in last two months.
Since it is used by a senior manager, we would like to find out the cause of
it and prevent it happening again.

Thanks in advance.

Eric
