Netlaunch xp not saving settings

The idle disconnect of Netlaunch is not saving the setting. Is this a bug
and is there a way around it or another program I could use.

With Netlaunch I could launch and close a group of programs at connection
or disconnection. I could also close a connection if traffic was low over X
amount of minutes. Is there another program that can do those things.
