.NET Remoting with PocketPC2000

Never used .NET remoting but I am assuming that you need CE.NET to use
remoting on an iPAQ?

The Compact Framework does not have support for remoting. If you crawl
through the archives for the official CF newsgroup
(microsoft.public.dotnet.framework.compactframework), you will find some
discussions on this topic and possible alternatives.

Hi,

The iPaq is a pocketPC device, CE.NET is a different thing.
You can run .NET programs in PPC2000 , just need to install the framework
as it's not included ( it's in PPC 2003 )

Unfortunally it does not support remoting, you have to use either web
services or a TCP/IP connection
