net messenger

I need help getting rid of net messenger. I did disable
window messenger service about 2 months ago and the
messages stopped. This past weed Net Messenger started
sending messages again to me when I am online. I checked
to see if window messenger service was still disable and
it is. Can someone please help me get rid of this Net
Messenger Service?

Greetings Joey,

To fully remove Windows Messenger 4.x, close down Messenger if it's running (right click the
messenger icon in the notification area/system tray and click close). Then click the start
button, then click Run and type in (copy-paste if you like):

RunDll32 advpack.dll,LaunchINFSection %windir%\INF\msmsgs.inf,BLC.Remove

Then click OK.
