.NET Messenger???

What is .NET Messenger, how did it get on my computer without my knowledge,
and how do I GET RID OF IT? Whatever it is, it's causing a Messenger type
pop-up to randomly appear that tells me I am signed in to "Messenger' on
another computer. Since I use only one computer, this has become irritating.
Please!!! Help!!! This is not 'Windows Messenger' or 'MSN Messenger' and I Do
Not want to have to contend with this pop-up anymore.

I like it ! Very Much.
My problem is I can't get signed in.
I'm disabled and I forget things easily.
I can't remember which one on my MSN.Net password page is the most recent.
And I have been trying to do this all day. In 100% weather.

Please send me to a thread on "getting signed in, this has never happened
to me.
Usually, the computer (a part of Microsoft) remembers it for me.
Why does it ask me for a "different" email address"?

Please, this part has to be simple at least at the level I can play at. Yes?
