net MD

I've recently bought a new Dell computer with the XP-home
edition and a Sony Net-MD. When I connected the MD to the
computer I made a mistake, I connected it before
installing the Sony software and its drives. Stupid I
know...

Instead I used the drives recomended by XP... and it
doesn't work. When I try to record a CD to the computer it
starts and then stops imediatly.

Can anyone please, please help me

Remove the devie.
Open Device Manager and remove any references to the drivers to the
new removable device listed.
Reboot, install the correct drivers and thne add the Sony MD.
