Windows XP .NET Framework

Hi all,

Just wanted to know that if i have installed .NET Framework 2.0 , do i still need the older version 1.1 and its hotfix or can i uninstall it.
I installed 2.0 for a specific purpose so if you can throw some light on this.

.NET Framework 2.0 is NOT an upgrade to 1.1 you need 'em both.
