Can anyone help please, after downloading the service
pack it changed the way I log on (picture & name). When I
start up now I just get 'Welcome' and no option to log
on. I've tried the control panel options but it still
will not allow me to log on like I used to. any ideas?
thank you.

How did you log on before and how did you log on now?

.I used to log on by clicking my name, the screen was
split with 'welcome' on left side and an option to turn
off. now it just says 'welcome' and goes straight into
the desktop. thanks for your help

I had the same problem when the new version came out so, I uninstalled the SP
and my Computer went back to the way it was. I read somewhere on these boards
that the service pack 1 has error if you have a FAT32 system. So I have not
installed it back yet. I am still doing my homework trying to read a lot of
messages to fix this problem so I can install the Update.

If you activate a second (guest)account the former welcome screen will
reappear.
