Hi,

An error mesage keeps popping up on my screen that
says "Net Command has encountered a problem and needs to
close. We are sorry for the inconvenience."
The error information is:

szAppName : net1.exe szAppVer : 5.1.2600.1106
szModName : net1.exe
szModVer : 5.1.2600.1106 offset : 00004937

Technical info is
C:\DOCUME~1\mattisn\LOCALS~1\Temp\WER1F.tmp.dir00
\net1.exe.mdmp
C:\DOCUME~1\mattisn\LOCALS~1\Temp\WER1F.tmp.dir00
\appcompat.txt

Any suggestions will be greatly appreciated.

This is a file that synchronizes your system time with a time server. You
could temporarily disable that feature to avoid the error. Double click the
time, on the Internet Time tab, uncheck the box for synchronizing.

While you're there, you might want to try to manually update the time to
see if the error still occurs. If it does, do you have this function
blocked with an internet security program (firewall, for example)? Is the
system setup to synchronize with the network's own server instead of an
time server on the internet?
