Nero Version 6

Is any-one using the subject item and is it working OK - I changed DVD/CD
reader/writer and a copy of Nero 6 came with the unit (Sony) - I was using
EZCD version 5 but after removing EZCD and installing Nero I found the
program confusing since it would open numerous windows on any project that
you wanted to do. Eventually my OS started to act up and I had to remove
Norton and re-install the OS - any information would be greatly appreciated.

Jim,

If you are not used to Nero, either try using it for a while and learn or
use back your old EZCD.

Also after installing Nero 6, please check out www.nero.com for the latest
patches for your Nero 6. I remember some versions of Nero 6 has some
problems with WinXP. So the tip here is to update your Nero 6 to whatever
version it can.

There has been several major updates to NERO 6. Version 6.6.0.8 is now out
and you can upgrade your OEM version for free. I use both Nero 6.6 and
Roxio EZCD 7. I have no problems with each.
