Just wanted to inform everyone or anyone who uses Nero Ultra 6 edition.
I put sp2 on without any problems but when I went to make a data cd using
Nero I got a warning that this program was not compatiable with sp2. It also
said to go to Ahead software to find the update. I went to the site and
found the update.
Here is the link of where I found it:
http://www.ahead.de/us/nero-up.php
It did the updates and it works fine now.

Posted in windows update and windows xp general just to help anyone if they
use Nero.

Hi,

I still using version 5.5.10.56 (with xp pro sp1), has anyone had any
problems with this version of Nero after installing xp sp2?

Many thanks in advance

I'm using this version with SP2. No problems.

I have the 6 Ultra Edition...so I'm not sure about your edition..have you
installed sp2 yet? If you have open up your Nero and within a minute or so
you should get a warning about compatibility with it if there is an issue.
Check out Ahead's site and it may give you some information on it.

Hi all,

Thanks for the replies, I think I'll wait a few more weeks before installing
SP2.

I'm going to wait for the CD I ordered before installing. I also plan to do
a full back up and look for new drivers/software updates between now and
then.

I had trouble and just went to Ahead's site and downloaded the update and
now no problems.
