NeoMagic 256AV driver for XP Home Edition

I cant get 256 color setting to show in display settings
window on a Presario 1925 laptop and can only get 16 and
24 bit color settings. Any Input would be appreciated.

Download and install updated drivers from the HP website for your Presario
notebook.

All They give you is the original 98 drivers, but the
laptop I got has XP. Anything I'm missing?

The real problem is that the notebook is too old for HP to continue
supporting it..... NeoMagic do not release drivers to the enduser:

It's possible that some of the 256AV drivers found at:
http://www.video-drivers.com/companies/717.htm
will work, but there's no guarantee.
