Negative Numbers Display

I'm trying to display negative numbers as brackets in
excel but I've been unsuccesful. I've changed the numbers
format in regional settings to display negatiive numbers
in brackets and then rebooted but when I go into excel I
the numbers still show with a minus.

Any help would be much appreciated.
