Negative carrier for 4870?

R

Ronald Bruck

Shortly after I bought my Epson Perfection 4870, I was surfing the 'net
and came across a site advertising a negative carrier which had
adjustable bars between frames. I'm pretty sure it said it worked on
Epsons. I THOUGHT I bookmarked the site, but now I can't find it.

Since I've now started using Epson's carrier, I'm desperately looking
for something better. Can anybody tell me where I saw this? I'm sure
it was through a link on one of the scanning websites, or in one of the
posts here, but I can't find hide nor hair.

And if not this particular carrier, let's generalize the question: can
anyone suggest a better carrier?

I prefer glass to glassless, despite the problems with Newton's rings,
because I have some badly curved film and this simplifies the focus.
But I'll take anything I can find.
