needs time to open

MY Hard Disk doesnt work only suddenly after 5 min period.
I did the defragment.
I deleted the files in cashe.
I disabled many of the startup programs from MSconfig.exe
BUT the problem still exists which is the delay of starting any kind of
applications and programs. Even the windows programs it wont work only after
a while.
Any solutions?

If you are certain your machine is virus/ malware free do the
following:

Start> run> sfc /scannow

Have your XP CD in the drive as it may be needed
