need your help..deleted sound

newbie here...not at all comp savy. i accidentily deleted the sound in the
add/remove sector of the control panel. how do i get my sound back..can i
retrieve any deleted items from the add/remove sector? thanx so much.

Go to the web site of the computer manufacturer, or sound card
manufacturer only if it was bought separately, download the drivers for
the card, and install.
