A co-worker of my wife has lost her paperclip in Microsoft Word in Office
2000. She really want it back and loves having it. (I don't know why?) But
wants it back. Clicking help and "show office assistant" does not work. It
just greys out and stays that way until you get out of Word and go back in
with same results. I tried it on my Word and it works ok. What can be done
to restore this for her? Her operating system is windows 98.
Thanks

Open Word/click Help/click Detect and Repair/click the Start button/follow
prompts. Have the Office or Works Suite or Word CD handy.

Or maybe the Office Assistant isn't installed. You can add this from
your Office cd.

Malke;
Now there's an idea. She can have my Office Assistant I'm not using her.
