I just wonder if it's possible to connect to new group msnews.microsoft.com
without having a mail account. I run windows Vista Enterprise and use e
klienten Windows mail.

Tony, not sure what your problem is, exactly?

You can set up WM to use the news server msnews.microsoft.com, simply add a
new news account via tools>accounts, use msnews.microsoft.com as the server
address, you should not use your correct email address when posting to
newsgroups, because of the spam potential doing so, generates.
WM can be set as your default news and or mail program at start>default
programs.
Get back if I am missing your point?

It's already in your Windows Mail client as "Microsoft Communites" - just
named differently.

Yes. But you must enter some kind of email address, not necessarily
a working one. Something like (e-mail address removed) will work.
