Need to unsave document. Made a Big Mistake! Help!

I made a copy of an excel document. I altered the copied
document but I forgot to rename the file when I changed
it. Now my original looks like my altered copy. How can
I get the original back to the way it was? Thanks.

Not what you want to hear I'm afraid, but it's gone. Unless you ahve a backup
somewhere, perhaps a network backup that the IT dept run say, then you are out
of luck.

in my humble opinion the only way would be to manually change it back to
what you require.

Unless you have another back-up copy.... which is always a good idea.
