Need to see checkdisk messages for longer

When I ask checkdisk ("error checking") to run at bootup, there are
about 10 message lines on the screen after it has finished. But I do
not have long enough to read them.

How can I keep those messages on the screen for longer?

From Start go to Administrative tools> Event Viewer, choose "Application"
and in the right pane under "Source" column look for "Winlogon".
Double click on this to see the results of the chkdsk.
