Hi All,

In Recent times my PC do checkdisk each time when I start the PC.Even If i
shutdown properly it appears again. Can anyone tell me how to solve this
issue, since it keeps me irritating each time to see that screen.

Two or three times it got shutdown abruptly due to power failure. How to fix
this.

I am running O&O disk defragment,Norton AV and an antispyware in the
background

Any help would be appreciated

The first thing to try is to let the chkdsk program run fully. If that
doesn't fix it, then the solution (from web searches for "chkdsk dirty flag")
suggests that a disk format is the only fix available. (But I wonder if
using a 3rd party disk utility might be able to fix this - say by resizing
the partition a bit).

Hi All,
Thanks for all your replies.I found that it is happening because the dirty
flag is set to Yes in the Drive(Volume). Is there any way to reset to No?
