need to retrieve disappearing calendar items

I have email thru an exchange which I also receive on my Blackberry. I sync
my Blackberry with the RIM Blackberry Desktop Manager. I use Microsoft 2007.
Where do I go on Outlook and on my blackberry and is there a setting I
should set on the Desktop Manager too?
Finally, is there a way for me to restore the calendar items that have
disappeared? They are not in my deleted folder or Archive folder.
What steps can I take to restore my calendar from a back up file?
Will you please be specific about the steps to take to fix this issue?
Is there a tech support # I can call for step by step guidance?

Do you know why they disappeared?

If they were removed from the BB because they were older than 60 days, on
the BB, open the calendar, open the menu and go to options. The setting you
need to change is near the bottom of the general options screen.

I have now adjusted the BB to 'forever' and will monitor to see if the
problem continues.
I don't know why my calendar items disappeared. The RIM Desktop Manager is
not user friendly. I wish I had the option to choose that I always want to
keep calendar iterms...at least until I opt not to.
The calendar items have disappeared from my MS Outlook 2007 and from the
exchange I use for emails.
I do not know how to 'restore' the back up pst

if the BB was not set to forever before, that is why there were deleted.
Look in Outlook's Deleted items folder - sort by the icon field so all
calendar items are grouped together. If the items are there, drag them back
to the calendar. If they are not there you'll need to restore them from a
backup.
