Need to rename CD Drive

Since installing new 2nd hard drive, my CD drive on "My
Computer" is now called "Iomega Jaz (E:) CD Drive"---
haven't used Jaz in years and never had any
drivers/software for it installed.

I can rename any other drives, but apparently this feature
is not available for the CD drive. How can I remove the
name "Iomega Jaz" get back the old/official name for my CD
Drive?

FYI: Using Windows XP Home with SP2 installed.

make sure computer is off dissconect the ide cable then boot up pc as normal,
the drive should then disapear from my computer, then shut down pc and put
the cable back in place then load windows this may help
