Need to reconnect my web pages to FP

I have both the web page files and FP in my new computer, BUT, they are not
connected to each other. (An antivirus software war went on in my previous
computer and disconnected the files from FP.)

How do I get all of this connected again? File/Import did not seem to be
the way to go; it sounded like that was going to take a page from my computer
and put it on the Web, and all of my pages in the computer have lost their
banner/hyperlinks, so I aborted the attempt. If I can grab all the pages on
the web, with their links, and put them on my computer, that would be ideal.
But I've not a clue how to do this, and Help has not been completely helpful,
unless this is called something other than Import.
 
Does the server hosting your site have FrontPage extensions??

If so, open the live site and File > Publish it to a location on your computer.
