Hey Guys

I know that it's possible to merge patches into a RIS image - but I
can't find any documentation on how to do it.

Could anyone tell med where to find the needes documentation?

You can't merge patches into an existing RIS image but you can RIS a machine
and add patches, then RIPREP the machine so future rollouts contain the
patches.

You can slipstream service packs and make service-packed RIS images, but you
don;t slipstream into an existing image, you create a new image with
RISETUP.

Edit the *SIF file in your RIS images to have the machine run a patch after
it first boots up, use the [GUIRunOnce] section for this.

Using the free SUS server you can patch your newly-RIS'd machines with the
latest service packs for 2K and XP as well as the critical updates.
