Need to find where a user is logged on

our UNC is such so that every person's computer is
supposed to be named after them. and being that a lot of
people move around or new employees do not get their
machine setup properly, it is hard to find where a user
is currently and previously been logged on to. I worked
at a major financial firm and the developers created a
utility where you type in a users name and it shows which
and how many machines they have logged into for about a
month or so. does anyone know of such a utility or script
that I could run . help is much appreciated.
 
Look into cconnect from the server resource kit.
You may need to modify somewhat, but it will collect
in the central, queriable database what you need.
