we have a W2K machine with a trojan.download virus.. the repair asks that
we boot up in safe mode. Whenever we try it just gets stuck at the CTL/ALT
/DEL entry point.
Is there any sort of bootup files that i can make a bootup CD from or any
suggestions???

The only freeware boot CD I've found that will allow writing to
NTFS disk is BartPE

It sounds like you are waiting too long to hit the F8 key to boot into
safe mode.
