Need RPG recommendation

I'm looking for freeware old style (SNES type) rpg's, but most game sites do
not list RPG maker products, except few of the most popular such as Laxius
power & Ahriman's prophecy. Are there any other that are particularly
good/popular?

There are various design systems for making 16-bit console style RPGs,
such as Verge:

"Diver Down" looks like a good game (I haven't played it myself). It's
about 20 MB. You can get it from the site above, or from GameHippo
(where it's one of the top rated games):
