Need printer help

Hi, I recently bought a dell XPS gen 3, and a dell A960 all in one printer,
and I followed all the instructions exactly, however when i plugged in the
USB cable, it said i was finished, since I had bought a computer with the
printer. It said make sure the computer is on, and it was, and it said click
''no'' when the new hardware install option came on, which I did. The problem
is i do not see the printer on my computer taskbar and I cannot print. I have
tried unplugging the usb cable and restarting the printer, but nothing has
fixed it. If anyone could help I would appreciate it. Thanks

Call DELL technical support and get them to talk you trhough the setup.

You'll get the right advice and its free.

I tend to disagree now that Dell has moved their technical support
overseas to India. You can barely understand what they are saying and
they are usually less than helpful. They tried to tell me you can't put
a Radeon Mobility 9600 ProTurbo in a Latitude D800. They said only the
nVidia cards will work. I told them to just send me the stupid card and
it's running just fine now.

Here is what you are going to do. First, unplug the printer. Now click
Start-Control Panel-Add/Remove Software. Uninstall whatever software
the printer installed. Reboot the computer, install the software from
the CD, now plug the printer in. If it asks to search for the drivers,
let it and follow it through until it installs everything. Now see if
it works.
