Need new sound card compatible with Windows XP

When I upgraded from 98 to XP, the Turtle Beach Montego
sound card was not compatible. What steps/sound
card/driver do you recommend for me to get sound again?
Hard drive is Dell Dimension if that helps.

I checked their site, and it seems that your soundcard is no longer supported.
My advice is to visit http://www.newegg.com/ and browse the soundcard section.
I like the Creative Audigy cards, but Guillemot makes good ones as well.
