an error occurred while validating the system for installation

I've been trying to install the Feb CTP 5308 release on my home rig, onto a
clean 120GB hard drive, and I keep getting the same response to the install.
Whether I try the x86 or the x86_64 version I get the same error right after
I select the partition to install.

"an error occurred while validating the system for installation"

and the installer quits.

Any help would be greatly appreciated.

You probably need to load the RAID driver prior to launching the install
(even if you don't use RAID capabilities). Otherwise, possibly you need a
BIOS upgrade. You could also try creating and formatting the partition on
the clean drive from a working Windows system before you start the setup.

Have you created the partitions? You have to create partitions, and then
format before you can install.

I can create the partitions just fine using the installer tool, it's when I
select the partition to install to (I guess this is supposed to begin the
install) it freezes with the error message above.

I'm pretty sure that it's the RAID card, but the card DOES NOT apparently
have Vista drivers. Is there any way to override the "validation" or disable
detection of the RAID card. I really don't want to have to pull it out of the
system.
