need netbios in win2000 domain?

Hi

Installing a windows 2000 domain in a forest by itself. If I have a
working dynamic DNS server do I need to bother with netbois? And if I
do need netbios does this mean I have to run a WINS server?

I know that just by keeping netbios running you don't have to have a WINS
server. There are several things that won't work if you don't use netbios,
like browsing network neighborhood. Also some apps like Symnatec AV use
netbios names to do push installations, if netbios is turned off it wont
work.
