Need Movie maker v1 again after upgrading

I've upgraded my version of Windows Movie Maker to v2, but have
discovered a feature in v1 I want to use which is not available in v2.

Can I extract v1 from my installation disk without affecting the
upgraded version?

Is there somewhere else I could download this legacy version of Movie
maker?
