Uninstalling Windows Movie Maker

My Movie Maker was freezing so I downloaded another copy - when installed it
altered nearly all my programe icons on 'start' - want to remove Movie Maker
or bring icons back - tried restore system which laptop would not do. Movie
Maker is not in add/remove programs in control panel - how can I uninstall
this program or get my icons back? Please

Movie maker isnt uninstalable,its integraded to XP OS files,also thier is no
download for it from microsoft (at least for xp).Youre best bet from here is
to install xp cd,exit the info page,go to run,type:cmd In cmd type:Sfc
/Scannow
When its thru,12-15 min.type:CHKDSK C: /F Agree,then type:EXIT Remove xp
cd,restart pc.
