Need low-cost Matte Heavyweight paper in bulk

Larry

Hi all,

I need to know where I can buy a substantial amount (well, for me) of
Heavyweight (66lb or heavier) Matte Paper.

I'm looking at around 1000 sheets.

The quality needs to be good. Some will be for photo's, but the majority
will be used for printing out a catalog of my DVD's (with cover scans,
technical data, etc...) from DVD Profiler (THE DVD management program).

We're talking about a catalog for 400+ DVD's, one DVD listing per sheet.

It nees to work well with a Canon i950 printer.

It should also work well with an Epson 820. I have three color and two B/W
cartridges left for this piece of junk, and I intend on getting the heads
unclogged ONE last time just to print this catalog and use up the expensive
ink cartridges, so I can then throw the thing in the trash and be done with
it. Having $150 worth of ink to use up is the only reason I still have it.

I normally use Red River paper, but thier Matte Heavyweight paper is no
bargain at $18 for 50 sheets, and for some odd reason they don't sell higher
quantities of this at a lower price (they do most other papers). At least
not on their web site.

8.5X11 size of course.

Any idea's ?

Oh, in case your wondering why I don't use normal 20 or 24lb paper, I
already tried that with my Epson 1270 (no longer useable). I printed the
catalog in normal quality and the damned paper curled up and creates a huge
'bump' in the book where the cover scans are. That's why I need to re-do
it.

Thanks all!

Hi all,

You might call Barry at High Resolution, 1-800-251-4655. I have been
buying paper and refill inks from him for years. Both have always been
top quality. Tell him "Irish" gave you his number. I special request
from him often. He always comes through for me.

Good luck,
Bill "Irish" Holohan
