I just bought Sygate personal firewall pro. and am using a free download
of Antivir, it's from a german company. Is there a good but low price
anti trojan download ? The few I've seen are $39.95 and my pc budget is
tight right now. Any ideas... Thank You p.s. I use my pc for home
stuff, no office work but better safe than sorry.

A good one is Boclean. Mail me and we'll arrange something!

IMO:

I have found that all trojans by my trojan scanner found by my AV also
anyway, in some cases my AV found a trojan while the 'specialized' AT
scanner didn't. A trojan scanner may very well be 'redundant'. Most AV
manufacturers seem to have more resources available anyway (to come up with
new definitions), I can be wrong but many of the makers of AT's seem
relatively small or even one man operations which may have a hard time
keeping up.

What you say is true but it depends very much on the av product. Some
are lousy Trojan detectors. A couple of them though are better Trojan
detectors than products sold as anti-Trojan.

Hè Joep,

Don't start screaming right away about illegal copies being given
away.......who says?????
Kom op Joep, niet direct zo oordelen. Mag ik nog vragen of iemand me
mailt? Je weet totaal niet waarover, toch?
