I have been given the task of deploying some Kiosk
machines at work.
These machines are on a managed LAN that will access the
internet. They will have XP professional installed on
them.
I need to have users login to the PC's useing their LAN
ID to verify them for use of PC's. In other words just to
make sure they are an employee and also possible security
checks.
Usually when users login they run a login script
associated to their LAN ID that maps drives and pulls
down the users policies. Some of the users have no
internet access.
I need the KIOSK to verify that they are a LAN user but
ignore all their policies, and drive mappings. Basically
I need every user to be treated the same with basic user
rights. The main ones being access to the internet, and
no ability to ad any software at all.
Anyone have some ideas or point me in the right direction?
Thanks
