Need help.....

I accidentally deleted a necissary file while deleting
spyware and now every time i use something that involves
explorer.exe i get the error "failed to get data
for 'ad'". All i have is a restore disk from VPR matrix
that completely whips the drive clean and reinstalls
everything. Any ideas on what i can do?
