Hello,

So I have been having networking problems for almost over a year now. I have been unable to connect to the other three computers on the network from the fourth one. Last night I started working on it, and finally got it where the fourth can be seen by the other three. The other three computers can access fours' files, but four can see the other computers but when I try to access them from other computers I get random errors that could change with every click.

One is "The network location cannot be reached"

Another ive seen is "Incorrect Function".

When I try to "view workgroup" it says: "The list of servers if currently unavailable"

Ive already looked through many of the messages on the newsgroups, which have helped me get to the point I am at. Now I am lost...

Any help would be appreciated,

Matt

Hi,

Give a little more info about network config. Like ip addresses that you
use, subnet mask. How are the computers connected. You can ping your
computers from any location? what error do you get when you go to Start /
run / "\\ip_computer"? Dou you have "use simple file sharing" from "windows
explorer \ tools \ folder options \ view" disabled? Do you have any
passwords for the admin account?
