Isn't there some help I can get diagnosing why my XP is freezing? I have
answered every question, checked everything I know to check, ran reg
checkers, pc doctor, etc etc.

It still keeps freezing like once a day.

What can diagnose the problem?

Please helP!!!!!

Perhaps it's time to pay a professional to look at your computer? This is a public newsgroup. Everyone who posts here is volunteering whatever time and knowledge they have to help people out if they can. If you can't find a solution for your problems here, it might be time to take that next step.

Try giving the 3rd party junk the deep six....XP doesnt need pc doctors and
the
others,try disk clean up,defrag,open cmd type:CHKDSK C: /F Agree to restart,
type:EXIT Restart computer. Also, try windows update After all, open event
viewer, see what events/warnings are taking place, click on the url for
one,this
opens help/support in xp usually with a fix...Thier is also a hotfix for
freezing up,
it #892052

I concurr with Andrew.

You can always use the installation disk to repair a Windows installation
instead of doing a complete install.

If it keeps freezing, then there's probably a driver that is corrupted or is
now on a bad section of a very large hard drive.

The event viewer will tell you exactly what the reason the stoppage was for.
Take the code that is listed and go to the Microsoft support page and search
for the article that pertains to the error code(s).

Good luck.

I'll get started on what things I haven't done.

This is where the windows website and help says to go to get help, I don't
know where else to go besides finding a local shop, which I will after doing
all I can first.

Thanks!
