Need help with Vista Windows Mail

I deleted contacts, but when I start a new email, the entire list comes up
when I click on the 'TO' field. How can I get rid of the deleted ones?

the recent used list is kept in the registry.
they will eventually fall out.
or you can try editing the registry.
