Need help with Upload Feature

I cant get the upload feature to work. When I create a
folder for the uploaded files, I have to go to the
properties and uncheck the "Allow Scripts to be run", but
it is dimmed out and I cant check the box or uncheck the
box. All the other info on the formpage is displayed but
no pic is uploaded.

How can I get the Folder properties page ungrayed so I
can select the proper boxes???????

You need to configure this on your "live" Web site, after
opening it via HTTP.

If it's still dimmed, then you need to get more
privileges from your host or upgrade your server
extensions.
