Need help with populating a excel workbook

Hi,

At the moment I have created a excel workbook and have used vlookup to assist with with results. I'm populating my data sheet at the moment, but doing it manually and its taking forever due to the sheet containing 46,000 rows.

Basically I have two reference workbooks that contain data and I want to extract that data and paste it into the database I'm creating. I'm creating a streets databse and basically want to use a find and replace type formula. If my reference sheet has a certain route number assigned to the street then I want to be able to copy that info into a certain column within my new database, e.g. column 1 contains the stret name and column 2 contains the route number. When I'm in my new database want to find that street then populate a certain column with the route number.
