Hi,

Intel D975XBX
Core 2 Due E6300
OCZ PC-5400 2x1G
XFX 6500 PCI Express

I put everything together but the display did not show anything and
there is no beep. The motherboard green LED is lit, and the CPU fan
works.

I try remove the memory and still no beep. Also try keep one memory in
Channel A DIMM0 and not work.

No idea of what's going wrong.

Are both power plugs connected ? There is the main power connector,
and there is a 2x2 or 2x4 square connector that powers the processor.
See section 2.7.2.1 "Power Supply Connectors" in your user manual.

Also, what revision is your motherboard ? I think something like
3.04 or later is required for Core 2 processors.

There is a troubleshooting page here:

Thanks, the revision of my motherboard is 302. That must be the
problem. Anyway to upgrade?

I guess you saw the link from "Cuzman".

The first post in this thread, shows how to mod a 302
revision of motherboard. You add (3) 1K ohm resistors,
a 24.9 ohm resistor (1%), and a zero ohm resistor. These
are 0402 resistors and are the size of a grain of pepper.
I would not rate that as an "easy" mod. The pictures
are shown as a couple of links at the bottom of the
posting, but nothing appears in my browser when I click
on them (maybe you have to be a member of the forum to
view attachments?).

Your best bet would be to contact Intel and talk to them.
I have no idea how Intel would handle an issue like this.
