Need help with my barebone kit...

I got a ECS 848P-A7 Barebone Kit from tigerdirect and I put it all
together and when I hook the monitor into the computer (Yes, I put a
video card in) My monitor still says that it is in "'Power Save Mode".
Also what does the orange light mean?

are you getting any activiy lights from the hard drive? also are you
hearing and post beep codes when you boot up? there is a possiblity
that your board is DOA "Dead on arrival"

Possibly...I hear no beep when it starts up, but I see a red light near
the CPU which probably isn't a good thing.

the red light is ok, it indicates the computer is plugged into an AC power
source and is ready to go, power wise.
Have you built other computers?

When you power on:

Is the fan spinning on the CPU cooler?
Is the fan spinning in the power supply?
Do lights flash on the keyboard?

If the keyboard lights flash that usually indicates the mobo and CPU are OK.

Nope.

I answered he other two answers from memory, but it will not turn
on....so I do not know the answer. However, the mouse (It is an optical
mouse) has no light on the bottom of it so I doubt the keyboard is any
different.

Wait it turned on..I just didn't notice cause there is a movie playing
downstairs really loud. But there are no keyboard lghts. I thought maye
there aren't supposed to be, so I pressed the num lock button and caps
lock and I don't see any other lights turn on. The keyboard works when
attached to my other 2 desktops.

The lcd next to your cpu is normal.There are 2 power connections on
the board from the psu.Make sure they are both plugged in.The second
one should be either a 4-pin square or a harddrive shaped connector.
